Thus far...

Well hello everyone... again. Im not here to tell you (once again) that I will continue to regularly post; Ill prove it to you.. soon. Ha but seriously this Summer there will be NBA finals/MLB baseball coverage daily.

My take on everything thus far (game 3's):

Bulls- Cavaliers (2-1 cavs): Well well the one/eight matchup in the Eastern Conference. As most people know making the playoffs in the Eastern Conference is not exactly "Rocket Science". As a Chicago native and lifelong fan I will be the first to admit the Bulls probably did not deserve to be in the playoffs, but we made it so im not complaining.

Anyway.. what we have learned from this series..
1. Lebron is ridiculous
2. Derrick Rose. True life: I cant make important free throws
3. Joakim Noah= Dumbest/entertaining/hardest working player in the playoffs
4. Cavs win series in 5

Lebron is unreal, the man has defenders draped on him and he continue to hit difficult shots. Now the Bulls don't really have the "ideal" matchup against Lebron (not that anyone in the NBA does), but he is making Bulls defenders look silly. After Abusing James Johnson in game 2; Lebron even makes Kirk Hinrich ( best bulls defender IMO) look silly after draining a three right in his face during crucial parts of the fourth quarter. Derrick Rose in last night's game split a pair of very important free throws, that could have put the game away. Joakim Noah despite his comments, it is hard not to root for a guy that puts as much effort into the game than he does. Noah converting on many successful hustle plays, such as slapping the ball away from Lebron James during the ending minutes of last nights game. Although last night's game three victory I still look for the Cavs to take this series in five games.

LA Lakers vs OKC Thunder ( LA 2-1): I am a huge fan of KD. Been a big supporter of him since his first year in the league, and have been rooting on OKC in this series. Realistically I said OKC would take game three, possibly game four, but loose the series in five or six games. After watching three games I would say I am right on and still feel the same way. Watching the Lakers play they are the complete deal. Kobe- enough said, Derrick Fisher- guy does not miss shots, Ron Artest- great defender, great energy, needs to stay hot with three pointers for Lakers to repeat, Andrew Bynum- Lakers love having him back, and Pau Gasol- I really do not like Pau but his finesse way of playing the big man spot is pretty. As much as OKC will throw at them Lakers will advance.

Phoenix vs Portland (PHO 2-1): I like Phoenix alot, they score a ton of points and are playing there best basketball at the right time. Playing the young and injured Trailblazers I felt the Suns could sweep the Blazers. To my surprise the Suns dropped the series opener to the Blazers. Since then it has been all business with Phoenix taking the next to games without a doubt. I think this series will end in five games.
