Bubble Time

Big 12 Tournament Day One:

12:30 PM EST Texas Tech (16-14) (4-12 Big 12) vs Colorado (15-15) (6-10 Big 12): A matchup of two of the Big 12's weaker teams as Mike Singletary (14.8 ppg and 6.8 rpg) tries to lead the Red Raiders to a first round win against Cory Higgins (19 ppg and 2.4 apg) and the Buffs. Now both these teams will not be making the tournament unless they pull off the unthinkable and win out; but back to real life look for the Red Raiders to advance to see another day.

3:00 PM EST Nebraska (14-17) (2-14 Big 12) vs Missouri (22-9) (10-6): Marcus Denmon (11 ppg and 3.1 rpg) and the NCAA tourney bound Mizzou Tigers take on Ryan Anderson (11 ppg and 5.2 rpg) and the Cornhuskers. Nebraska struggled all year with Big 12 opponents and don't expect that to stop now. Look for Mizzou to take this game.

7:00 PM EST Oklahoma (13-17) (4-12 Big 12) vs Oklahoma State (21-9) (9-7 Big 12): Willie Warren (16.3 ppg and 4.1 apg) and Oklahoma come into the conference tournament with a must win mentality. Oklahoma unless winning the tourney will not be playing in late March. Look James Anderson (22.9 ppg and 6 rpg) and Oklahoma State to take this first round game.

9:30 PM EST Iowa State (15-16) (4-12 Big 12) vs Texas (23-9) (9-7 Big 12) Damion James (17.7 ppg and 10.2 rpg) and Texas take on Iowa State and Craig Brackins (16.5 ppg and 8.6 rpg). I would love to pick Iowa State in this game coming off a big win in Manhattan against K-State, and especially because I am really not feeling Texas at all. But I am going to have to pick Texas to win this game.

Big East Tournament Day 2:

2:00 PM EST St. Johns (17-14) (6-12 Big East) vs Marquette (20-10) (11-7 Big East): D.J. Kennedy (15.1 ppg and 6.2 rpg) and St. Johns take on Lazar Hayward (18 ppg and 7.8 rpg) and Marquette. St. Johns coming off a good win against UConn yesterday play Marquette today. Look for Marquette to take this tourney game.

7:00 PM EST Seton Hall (19-11) (9-9 Big East) vs Notre Dame (21-10) (10-8 Big East): I have a hatred for Notre Dame that goes all the way back to when I was a little kid. All hatred aside I have been very impressed with the way they have played thus far with and without "The Goat", but I like Seton Hall to take this game. Playing at its best at the right time.

9:00 PM EST Cincinnati vs Louisville: Look for Louisville to take this game.
